☛ Strategic Information Management Unit (SIMU)
SIMS is a web based integrated Monitoring & Evaluation system. The data of all division from various levels i.e. peripheral Units, district, state is captured for regular monitoring.
Strategic Information Management Unit (SIMU) at MDACS helps to monitor the progress of the HIV/AIDS program through SIMS. SIMU provides evidence to track the progression of epidemic, especially demographic characteristics & geographical mapping.

☛ HIV Sentinel Surveillance (HSS)
National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) has formalized annual HSS in the country in 1998 and in subsequent years, Antenatal Clinic (ANC) sites, High Risk Group (HRG) surveillance and Prison sites have been set up.
Since NACP-IV phase, HIV Sentinel Surveillance is conducted once in two years so that adequate time is spent on in-depth analysis and modeling, epidemiological research and use of surveillance data for programmatic purposes.
